1. Acceptance and Effectiveness of Terms​

These terms apply to the product "CanJournals" owned by Zaozao Island Technology CO., Ltd. In app stores and within the context of these terms, we may be referred to as "Zaozao Island Technology," "we," or "CanJournals." As the software and services are licensed to you, we may also refer to ourselves as the "Licensor" below.

"CanJournals" refers to the mobile application software and services legally owned and operated by Zaozao Island Technology CO., Ltd and/or its affiliates. All ownership and operational rights of CanJournals belong to us.

1.1 Effectiveness of Terms​

By using CanJournals and its services, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understood, and accepted all provisions of this Agreement. You thereby enter into a binding agreement with us as a CanJournals user. If you disagree with any part of this Agreement or cannot fully comprehend its terms, you must refrain from using the service or performing any operational actions. Any use or action will be deemed as acceptance of this Agreement. This Agreement is indivisible; using CanJournals or its services constitutes acceptance of all terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

  1. This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of the service within Mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan for the purposes of this clause). If multiple language versions of this policy exist, the Simplified Chinese version shall prevail in case of inconsistencies.

  2. Headings in this Privacy Policy are for convenience and readability only and do not affect the interpretation of any provisions.

2. Software and Service Usage Rights​

2.1 Personal Use Only​

CanJournals is intended solely for individual, non-commercial use. Any sale of CanJournals, related materials, services, or redemption codes derived from the software requires explicit permission from Zaozao Island Technology.

2.2 Software Licensing​

Applications provided via app stores, web pages, or in-app purchases are licensed to you, not sold. You acknowledge that while you may "purchase" or subscribe to in-app items, ownership remains with the developer. Payment grants limited usage rights only. Violations may result in license revocation and legal consequences.

2.3 Account Usage Rights​

CanJournals account ownership belongs to Zaozao Island Technology. Upon completing registration, you receive a non-transferable usage right to the account. The initial registrant retains exclusive rights to the account.

To ensure security, the initial registrant is strictly prohibited from gifting, lending, renting, transferring, or selling accounts. Unauthorized users may not acquire accounts through any means. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, restrictions, or termination without notice. The initial registrant assumes full legal liability for disputes arising from unauthorized transfers. We reserve the right to pursue legal action against violators.

3. Intellectual Property​

All intellectual property rights in CanJournals software and services belong to us. You acknowledge our exclusive rights, including but not limited to patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and protections under unfair competition laws. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. You must not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

All digital assets within CanJournals—including stickers, templates, backgrounds, covers, tapes, and design elements—are copyrighted by CanJournals.

Users may export materials (e.g., PDFs, images) for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

  • Display in business settings to enhance commercial image

  • Resale of assets or derivatives

  • Selling printed materials containing assets

Violators will be required to cease infringement immediately and may face legal liability for damages, including direct losses and reasonable legal fees. CanJournals reserves all rights to enforce intellectual property protections.

4. Usage Guidelines​

4.1 Content Standards​

You agree to use CanJournals in compliance with laws and public order. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:

  • Content opposing constitutional principles

  • Endangering national security or interests

  • Defaming heroes or historical figures

  • Inciting ethnic hatred or discrimination

  • Promoting terrorism or extremism

  • Spreading religious cults or superstitions

  • Disseminating rumors or disrupting social stability

  • Pornographic, violent, or gambling-related material

  • Harassing, defaming, or infringing others' rights

  • Displaying graphic or disturbing content

  • Sexual innuendos

  • Inappropriate commentary on disasters

  • Facilitating illegal activities (e.g., money laundering)

  • Copyright or trademark infringement

  • Harming minors

  • Commercial spam

  • Other unlawful or disruptive content

5. Software Usage Standards​

Prohibited activities include:

  • Using unauthorized plugins or tools to interfere with services

  • Automating interactions (e.g., bots, scripts)

  • Overloading network resources

  • Hacking or compromising security

  • Unauthorized access to systems

  • Reverse engineering

  • Bulk account registration

  • Other illegal or disruptive acts

Excessive usage beyond normal patterns (e.g., automated scripts, abnormal request volumes) may result in warnings, account restrictions, or termination. Violators bear liability for resulting damages.

6. Privacy Policy​

Zaozao Island Technology respects user privacy. We collect only necessary registration data and safeguard it. We disclose non-public information only when:

  • Required by law

  • Related to national/defense security

  • Fulfilling legal obligations

  • Protecting intellectual property

  • Emergency situations

  • Other legally compliant circumstances

Usage Data: You agree we may collect technical data (non-personally identifiable) to improve services, provide updates, and offer support.

7. Service Modifications and Termination​

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services without liability. For terminated paid services, we will notify users and process refunds where required by law. Services are virtual products; fees are non-refundable except as specified in Section 7.1. Users must verify subscription details before purchase.

8. Liability Limitations​

8.1 As-Is Basis​

You use CanJournals at your own risk. The software and services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of merchantability, fitness, accuracy, or non-infringement.

8.2 Damages Cap​

Under no circumstances shall Zaozao Island Technology, its affiliates, or partners be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss). Total liability is capped at fees paid (if any) for the service.

8.3 Force Majeure​

We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure (natural disasters, government actions, cyberattacks, etc.). Services will resume promptly post-event.

8.4 Third-Party Services​

We disclaim responsibility for third-party content, links, or services. Interactions with third parties are at your own risk.

8.5 Personal Injury​

To the extent permitted by law, CanJournals and its licensors exclude liability for personal injury or incidental damages arising from software use.

8.6 Warranty Disclaimer​

No warranties are provided regarding:

  • Service continuity or error-free operation

  • Accuracy of information

  • Correction of defects

8.7 User-Generated Content​

Uploaded content remains user-owned. We store content on servers but will not publicly distribute it without permission. Other services provided by Zaozao Island Technology affiliates are subject to their respective terms.

9. Miscellaneous​

9.1 Feedback​

By submitting suggestions, you grant us royalty-free rights to use and incorporate feedback into our services.

9.2 Advertising Independence​

Advertised features are not guarantees of performance. Users should evaluate functionality through personal experience before purchasing.

You agree to indemnify us for losses caused by your breach of terms, including legal fees and penalties. This Agreement is governed by Chinese law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zaozao Island Technology's jurisdiction. For inquiries, contact: canjournals@canapps.space.
